It seemed like the chain is trying to cut back. The dressing tasted watered down and the service was slow. It took 15 min before someone even came to the table to take a drink order. The steak I got had no flavor and even being cooked medium it was dry.  The mashed potatoes would have been better if they were instant potatoes. The grilled shrimp was cooked too long and had no seasoning on them.  This is the Statesville location and I will not go back nor would I recommend this place. I have come here for 10 plus years and this place is the worst it's ever been.

Came here with the expectation of great seafood and to celebrate mom's birthday. Food came out luke warm. Mentioned it to the waiter, he brought out the same other supposedly fresh but it was cold too. 

Talapia was dry and over cooked. Red lobster is loosing it's qaulity. It used to be a great place for fresh seafood but not this case. Kitchen or cook seems rushed and you can taste it in the qaulity of the food. Everything was cooked to long and came out cold. Best thing from the meal was the strawberry lemonade!

I had terrible service and food was not good! It took 45 mins for the food to come and there was confusion with what did went at what table! Don’t take this personally but I did not have a good expirience

We love Red Lobster and stopped here to eat on the way home from Elkin. It wasn't the best experience at a Red Lobster that we've ever had. Our server took our drink orders pretty promptly (water & coffee) and because we were pretty hungry, we ordered our food at the same time. We didn't see her again for about 20 minutes and our cups had been empty for about 10. When she brought our food we asked for more coffee and she brought back 2 more cups and we didn't see her again until she came back to ask if we wanted dessert. My partner ordered steak and shrimp, and maybe one shouldn't order steak somewhere that specializes in seafood, but it's on the menu, so they should know how to cook it. It was ordered medium rare and it came out very well done. No, we didn't send it back, and yes, we probably should have. (Maybe had we seen or server again we would have.) Anyway, the rest of our food was delicious - grilled shrimp, grilled scallops, salads and of course, cheddar biscuits. This particular visit at this particular Red Lobster wasn't a positive experience.
