I live not too far from BJ's Brewhouse in Towson so I visit for lunch or dinner fairly often. More often than not the food is cooked to perfection. Hot items arrive hot and cold items are cold. Taste of most food items on the menu is generally very good. There are rare instances where food arrives cold when it should be piping hot but your wait person will gladly correct such errors. The wine is good for a sports themed bar grill. The people at BJ's Brewhouse are a cut above the ordinary in that they really shine. The wait staff are attentive during your meal and if you become a regular the staff address you respectfully by your name. I took one star off because food quality can be inconsistent. The root beer ribs are sickeningly syrupy sweet horrid but most often the food is fine!

We came here last night (Wednesday) at about 8. It was not very busy (there was no wait and many empty tables in the section we sat). The person who sat us was, gruff at best. He was looking at the screen when we walked in. He looked up, said nothing so I said "Hi!" He said nothing and we stood in awkward silence til I said hello again. He rolled his eyes, asked how many and reluctantly sat us. We waited for about 10 minutes for someone to come over, take our order, introduce themselves, something. But nobody came. We had enough time to decide what we wanted to eat, drink, discuss leaving, look at two different restaurants' menus online, decide what we wanted from there, and agree to walk out. Not a soul came over during this time. We left, and the host rudely stated "bye to you, too" as we left. I would never reccommend this location, nor will I be back. I've been to several other BJ's, and never had anything but praise. This location, however, is the exception to that rule. Quite disappointing.

I thought the wings and calamari were great! Bison Burger was good but maybe slightly overcooked for medium well. Nice in house beer selection and what I tried was really good. Definitely a place I won't hesitate to come back to. The service was definitely a little slow for the noderate crowd. Enjoyed the Nashville Hot Chicken and the BLT starter salad.

Went last night with family and it was an awful experience from top to bottom. BJ's is just another chain restaurant that can't maintain high quality standards. Service was extremely slow from the drinks to the food. Waiter never asked how I want my burger cooked and ultimately I received a rock hard Charcoal flavored burger. My wife's ribs were cold and lacked any semblance of meat. They forgot to bring one of my son's meals which came 20 min late. This low par meal culminated with a bill that had two additional items on it that we did not order. They offered us a gift card as a way to pay us for the additional items on our bill but I would never use it because I would never choose to spend a night out with my family at BJ's again.

If I could've given 0 stars I would have. 10pm we are the only 2 people at the bar. The bartender (tiny girl, with random tattoos, long nails and a worn out, angry face) was AWFUL! My $10 Margarita was all syrup/sour mix. Forgot my water, then my friends drink also. 20 mins until she came back, (again it was an empty bar.) She was at the bar making small shots with plastic wrap over top-which she brought from the kitchen IN HER MOUTH! Food took forever and was not worth mention. Closing time was 12am. At 11:30 after being ignored all night, they began rushing us out. She came and took our plates, all the napkins and asked if we were still drinking our mostly full waters, while proceeding to grab them. We just started on brand new $9 drinks. She was horrible. One word, attitude filled answers, short and shitty. I regret leaving her a cent. I gave her 5%(coming from a bartender myself) The rest of the staff sat around us, staring, waiting for us to finish, and the manager joined them. We were promptly kicked out at 11:58. I WILL NEVER GO BACK, AND NIETHER SHOULD YOU!!
