Story

Since 1999 Dr. Kendall Williams and the experienced staff at Blackhawk Veterinary Hospital have been providing small and exotic animal medicine, surgery and dentistry to Janesville and the surrounding areas.

Best vet clinic ever! Dr. Joe and Dr. Williams are great. They and their vet techs always go above and beyond and are very flexible in scheduling if something comes up with my dogs or cats that needs attention.

Very upset and disappointed with this vet. Had to wait 40 mins past appointment time for Dr Williams to see our dog. Once he finally got to us, he only looked at my dog's ear for a couple of minutes then said he has no idea what the red lump on his ear could be. He suggested I bring him back the next day so they could remove it. The estimated cost to remove was just shy of $800. I said that was way out of our budget. They said fine, but I still owed $65. When questioning why that cost was so high, I was told the doctor's time is very valuable. Really!!! That much to look at his ear quickly and say he has no clue! I would not have minded paying for an exam if I would have really gotten one or any information about the lump on his ear, but I clearly did not get either of them. I will never return to the vet. Please beware of them.

I love everyone there! I'm sad i moved they were sweet, kind, gentle, and unserstanding. No products were ever pushed when my German Shepherd wasn't gaining weight they never said I had to do test they advised but said I would recommend it but told me I could start off by switching food and offered what they had plus other cheaper alternatives. My dog was spayed there and she healed beautifully. I always recommend them to anyone.

All of the vets and support staff are knowledgable, friendly and loving caregivers! We are extremely pleased with the medical attention our animals have received over the years.
