I was looking forward to my visit to JAMC today with our foster kitten, because they have always been a great place to bring our dog in the past. But I was unfortunately very disappointed and disturbed by the experience we had. Our friendly, gentle, trusting, and happy-go-lucky kitty was handled roughly, to the point of breaking from fear and stress. Instead of showing compassion, the staff continued to treat her insensitively, and had the nerve to imply that her behavior (which stemmed from pure fright) was her personality and that it was set in stone. We were prescribed medicine for a minor respiratory infection and told sarcastically that they doubted we would be able to even administer it (WRONG). Honestly, I have never felt so slighted and disheartened after visiting the vet with one of my animals. We were charged $45 for an exam, though the vet hardly examined the kitten at all. I got the distinct impression of dislike towards my pet and felt uncomfortable throughout the entire procedure. My sister works for a cat specialty clinic, and I have seen the difference proper feline husbandry can make for cats and unfortunately JAMC has not caught on to this at all. Perhaps they should take note, because after today's visit I will never return to this clinic with one of my cats again. -Sarah w/ Bindi (who has returned to her happy gentle self as soon as we got home)

These are the most knowledgeable people with animals that I know. They treat your animals like they are their very own. They also are so compassionate, kind, loving people I know. Their concern doesn't stop with your pet they also extend it on to you! I can't imagine taking my animals anywhere else.

Friendly, very knowledgeable staff. They have quickly become my family's preferred vet clinic in the area.
