Hands down best shop in the Huntsville/Madison area. Blevins' staff is extremely knowledgeable and reliable. The staff are not pushy, instead, they listen to your needs and help you make an informed decision on your purchase or repairs. 

I truly believe Matt and his team want what is best for their customers. They are willing to go the extra mile to make sure every customer is taken care of.

Best bike shop in North Alabama! The customer service that Matt and his staff offer will keep you coming back. I just bought my second bike from them today. Matt took time to answer every question that I could think to ask as well as made sure I was completely comfortable with all aspects of my purchase. These guys truly go above and beyond. If you are shopping for a bike or need service it would be a mistake to go anywhere else.

I have over 12 years experience as a Bike Mechanic and have worked with Pro Teams in the past. I was in need of a wheel truing for a BMX bike (for one of my kids) and stopped by Blevins for a quote. My Park tools were sold years ago, or I would have done this work myself. This shop has a starting point of 100.00 for a wheel build. Keep in mind that I had already laced the wheel, it was fully assembled and within 2mm of being true. I was told that it would be around 85.00 as is, but no concrete price. I had offered to pay 40.00 for the work and was Immediately told that they could not do the work for that amount. This was not a wheel build it was a truing! I had offered to pay at the hi-rate of a truing to avoid wasting more time, and that still was not enough and not acceptable.

I left Blevins and went to Bicycle Etc on my way home and got the work done for 16.50 without any issues. I spoke to the owner of Blevins after leaving a message. The owner "Matt" agrees with the employee that the charges were appropriate. I don't mind paying for services. I am offended by what they deem "appropriate". Regardless of who you are, or what they can see you will be charged the maximum amount of money possible. I needed a wheel finalized, not a tear down and rebuild to ensure quality standards. If you don't mind paying for work that is not needed, and you don't mind paying more than what is required give them a shot.

I have only had one experience with this shop, and it is not a positive one. The owner and employees give off a vibe of we are better than you with no regard for customer satisfaction. This is what we charge, you don't like if leave. It was obvious that I left unhappy and was not even offered to speak to the owner, who was not there at that time. I had to call and leave a message just to get the owner's opinion on this matter.

No concrete price, No reasonable quote, and No ability to true a wheel without a complete rebuild? They could have just finalized the wheel, and I would have paid any reasonable amount, but that was not acceptable or offered. I would have been charged close to 100.00 after taxes or possibly more to true a wheel. This would have been a 5 minute job, and another shop completed the work in under 5 minutes. When you leave a Bike a shop the same way you leave a car dealership for a repair there is a problem. I felt no different leaving Blevins.

These  guys are awesome.  Rolled in on a cross country bicycle tour and had to have some work done on my rear wheel. They jumped on it . They gave some great directions to avoid heavily trafficked areas. Total professional service. Thanks guys.
