Story

Nestled amidst the busy downtown shopping district of Fairhope, AL, Bliss Bridal offers brides an upscale, yet affordable, experience. Offering styles ranging from casual chiffon dresses to satin ball gowns and all the lace in between, Bliss Bridal can accommodate the desired style and budget of any bride. Gowns range from $800 to $2000.

Brides can also find their bridesmaid dresses, veils and jewelry at Bliss Bridal. Jim's Formalwear is offered for tuxedo and suit rentals.

We are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are suggested.

We love spending every day working with brides and helping them find the gown of their dreams! Our brides and customers are like family to us and make us happy to come to work everyday. Thank you to the most incredible group of women who have supported us over the many years of business and to those we will meet in the coming years. We couldn't do it without you!

My experience at Bliss Bridal was nothing short of a woman's dream. Myself, my five bridesmaids, and my momma were treated with such kindness and patience. Their dresses are gorgeous and the selection is large enough to accommodate many different styles/shapes/personalities. My stylist, Pamela, was such a joy and helped me to feel very calm throughout the process. I can't wait to get married in my beautiful gown!

I am a firm believer in shopping local, but I would give this shop zero stars if that was an option. I am also not one to write reviews online, but I have been so disappointed and upset with my experience I don't want anyone else to have to go through it, too. I am a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding and she chose this shop to order her dress and the bridesmaids' dresses from. I live out of town and called with my measurements. I have been sewing since I was a child and know how clothes should fit. The dress is very flowy and loose at the bottom and they tried to tell me I needed a dress two sizes too big to "fit my hips." This was completely wrong information. The dress has a fitted waist, they should have known that was the most important measurement for the dress to fit properly. My husband and I were actively trying to get pregnant at the time of the deadline for ordering the dress. I offered to go ahead and pay them the full price of the dress if I could call them back in four days to tell them what size I needed (I would then know if I needed to account for being pregnant or not). They were incredibly nasty to me about this request and proceeded to call and harass my cousin, the bride, to tell her that I hadn't ordered my dress and this was a breach of contract. The dress came in months later and was picked up and mailed to me because I live 7 hours away. The dress size is very clearly mislabeled. In addition to the shop ordering a size bigger than what I ordered and is listed on my receipt, the dress measures exactly two sizes bigger than what the size label says the dress is. These measurements are directly from the Bill Levkoff size chart. It's clearly a manufacturing default, but the shop when asked about it, proceeded to talk over me and read the contract back to me and said they could do nothing. I'm now stuck with a $300 dress three sizes too big that falls off my body and cannot be altered due to the style of the dress. This shop has been a complete nightmare. I do not recommend them if you want a "blissful" experience, people that are willing to work with you, and dresses that fit.
