Really disappointed with the service and the establishment. Definitely will not be back. I usually go to the Hair Bar in Southlake but thought I’d give this place a try. Big mistake I won’t make again. If you truly want a relaxing, pampering experience, this is not the place.

LOVE this place! The girls are so amazing friendly and always fitting my needs! They do AMAZING hair and AMAZING makeup! Always make me feel special and always leaving feeling like a million bucks!!!! Definitely recommend for your next event or just want to feel good!

Many of these young women are not trained. At first I thought it was just new. Twice I left with wet hair. I was only there for a wash and blow dry not a style. Three times I showed up after making an appt on their website and three times I was told that I did not have an appt. Today was the final straw. I walked in and stood there with no one else in the shop and the girl at the front desk did not look up or even greet me. She was on the computer. I finally stepped back and looked around the corner. Another girl who was just sitting in one of the client chairs finally acknowledged me. She smugly asked If I got her message. She informed me that my appt was 45 minutes earlier. I assured her that the website would not let me choose an appt before 1:30. She stated...WE DO NOT Change those appts. I asked if they were going to still see me since no one else was there. She said...we have other appts coming in so no. I think corporate needs to come to this place and train. At least train them to smile and greet and offer solutions like another later appt. I will do my own hair. Much less frustrating.

The customer service in this establishment is ABYSMAL. I waited 45 minutes post my 1:00 appointment to be serviced and Ken who is apparently the lead stylist did a good job upon first glance but the hair style had fallen before I even left the salon. Another stylist had to then fix and spray the style for it to hold, He then hopped on his high horse and refused to discount my service because the companion I was with''s service took longer. What two separate paying customers have to do with one another is beyond me. I would not even send my worst enemy to this blow bar. Their business practices are disgusting. Don't go here.

TL;DR: I love blo, I hate this blo I'll probably never go back to this blo ever again. It's the closest one to my parents' house, but I would rather drive to Dallas and go to dry bar than go here again. I've been three times: the first time was fine. I asked for body and the stylist made my hair super straight instead, whatever. The second time the girl spent FOREVER blow drying my hair and kept spending a really long time on each section. I frequent a blo in San Antonio and I love it so much, but they do not spend half the time on one section of hair that she did. She just killed my hair with heat. At one point she actually burned my ear with the blow dryer, not exaggerating. She was also super young and in general seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. She also ended up using a straightener on me; I have curly hair, but the stylists in San Antonio never have a problem getting my hair straight with round brushes only. I went for a third time today and, again, the girl was super young and had no idea what she was doing. She blew dry my wet hair with a brush. a brush. And when I was done, my hair was like an afro. She also had to use a straightener on me and she literally COMBED my hair with a straightener. Just kept running it through and through and through on the same section. I have never seen any stylist at a salon or a blo make more than one pass on hair with a straightener. I'm also trying to grow my hair out and this girl was going over my ends a solid 4 times until I asked her nicely to stop. My hair feels fried and dry and it literally looks like something I could have done myself and not shelled out 40 dollars for. Someone needs to be doing a better quality check on the people they hire before letting them loose on people's hair. Pass on this location. If you're ever in San Antonio , the Blo in Lincoln Heights is awesome and the stylists get it right every time
