Burger was delicious and the fries were unique and tasty! My girlfriend and I enjoyed a casual date night at the high top table by the windows. Staff was friendly and the food didn't take long in spite of being very busy. 

Only disappointment was they were out of prime rib for the sandwich but we the short rip sandwich instead and it did not disappoint!

*EDIT*  Been back a couple times since our first visit and Block 16 has easily become one of our favorite spots for a casual bite to eat. The food is excellent.

Food that tastes good but is also nutritious. have you heard that their food is from farm to plate? just WOW! my kids really loved eating here! and me as a mom, was super delighted, didn't have to worry about those processed foods harming my kids! one of the best places for food-conscious moms that still appreciate a fantastic burger!

This is a favorite of our family. The kids love the burgers and fries and actually so do my husband and I. Burger is so fresh and juicy--all from local stock. Fries are to die for. Place is bright if you are seated by the window. It is informal and a great spot for a mid-week dinner out with the family.

Stopped by on a cross-country roadtrip in the middle of the day on a Saturday. The rest of downtown was deserted, but there was a line out the door here.

Despite the popularity with the locals, I found myself surprisingly not blown away. Maybe this type of food is hard to get in Omaha, but I found it fairly ordinary, with prices that weren't cheap by coastal standards.

The dragon fries were more cute than good - it's pretty novel crumbling a fortune cookie (with fortune!) into french fries, but the end result is pretty much just the sum of the parts.

The sandwiches were also fine, but nothing much to write home about.

I have not had a single item from the menu that I wouldn't eat again. The daily specials are amazing! I have followed them on Facebook to keep an eye on the daily specials and the new menu items that they are creating! It is a great atmosphere that gets really busy for lunch and supper! So be prepared to wait a little bit to get your food but it is well worth the wait!
