Beyond disgusted with this company. The agents are completely incompetent and don't even know the products they are selling. There number one priority is making money and will tell you what you want to hear to close the deal. I sat in the office face to face with my agent who explained how my policy would work. The plan I chose was supposed to have a 2700.00 deductible which everything after the deductible was met would be covered 100%. We chose this plan because my wife and I were expecting our first child. So 10 months of paying my premium faithfully of 600.00 a month our child was born. I had already paid women's & children's 2700.00 out of my pocket so my wife's deductible was met and I didn't expect to have any other major bills to come in because once again my agent had informed that everything would be covered after the deductible was met. He also told me that once my child was born that I had 30 days to come in and add her to my plan or my wife's. 3 weeks pass by and we received a bill from the obgyn's office for 2000.00. Thinking this is a mistake I reach out to my agent who informs me that they added my child to my wife's plan ,which is not what I was told would happen, and her deductible went to 5400.00 therefore this 2000.00 bill would not be covered. Even if I possibly misunderstood my agent of how my child would get added to my wife's plan and her deductible would go up, the service provided by the obgyns office took place before my child was born and therefore should still be covered under the original deductible right? WRONG! Blue cross refuses to pay the bill. I have had blue cross for over 10 years and have paid my premium every month and have never me my deductible until this year. I have paid them well over 60,000.00 in this time for them to fight me over a 2000.00 bill which they should pay. I will NEVER do business with this company again. Last of all, when I told my agent how upset I was and that it was ridiculous that insurance companies want us to pay top dollar but when it's time to use it they will do anything to get out of paying he replies with " I certainly won't deny that " with a chuckle. The lack of customer service in this office is astonishing.

The best of the best; the people and service are great and friendly. Payment to doctors who are in network is fast.
