It's an ok place normally (was there once before), adequate parking, food and drink were good prices. They had karaoke Saturday night and unfortunately a party with way too many really young kids. Kids and bars don't mix well with karaoke after 9pm. Walked in just after 9pm and the rotation was already 23. I don't know if the problem was the bar or the DJ (probably was the DJ, sound wasn't that good anyway), but we walked in and walked back out. Probably won't be back for entertainment, may go back for breakfast sometime if in the area.

Had dinner tonight at this place, I ordered the seafood pasta, my partner had the burger and salad.  Both meals were nicely presented, servings were generous and tasted delicious.  Will be back to try the chicken fingers.

This is the former Good Times Café. It was bought by new owners and renovated into the Bluenode Bar & Grill at 17080 Bathurst St., Newmarket, Ontario.

I was excited to try this place and I went to Bluenode Bar & Grill on April 5, 2018 at about 8:00 PM. I was served by Emma.

Emma asked me what I would like to drink. I asked if she had any cognac or brandy to which she replied “no”.  Then I asked her to make me a vodka martini because they had vodka.  Emma said, I only really serve beer and wine, I do not know how to make a vodka martini but maybe you could talk me through it.  I said forget that.

I looked over all the bottles they had and there it was, Hennessy cognac.  Emma did not know that Hennessy is cognac.  I pointed that out to her and she was obviously embarrassed.

My advice to the owners, hire a proper mixologist (a person who is skilled at mixing cocktails and other drinks).

I will not be returning to this establishment anytime soon.

Excellent food here I enjoyed it. Also every second Wednesday a talented bluegrass band host a jamboree fun stuff.
