I went in and got seated right away (which was nice) but when I asked for medium ( pink middle) steak I got one that was clearly well done... I waited long enough for my steak so I was a bit mad. The person I was with had gotten theirs, so while I waited again for my steak they ate their meal. Again it took a while for me to be served but it was correct the second time (portions do seem small as well). The staff and manager were very nice and I did get my meal for free (and one of my drinks) But I wanted to eat WITH my friend. Overall I think they should look into hiring better cooks or training them more... It really does ruin a meal to wait and eat at separate times from your dinner date.

I have been to this location 2 times and both times my steak was supposed to be medium well and it was burnt past the point of been well done. The portion the first time was too small so I had to send my plate back and wait for another and then came back perfect. The second time I went the fries were over salted and the mashed potatoes were bland so I sent the plate back and had to ask for no salt on my fries and then everything came back looking and tasting fine. My kids and I spend 2 plus hours both times at this location before we finally ate and left. Can't say it was worth 160 plus dollars to have everything sent back twice and to wait forever not the experience I would expect from a higher end steakhouse, what a disappointment.

Great night at the Keg last night! The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. We ordered steaks and they were delicious, aged well as it melted in our mouths. Vegetables and twice baked potatoes were also delicious. We ended off with the Billy Minor pie with extra, extra nuts, lol. Always a great having the pie, make favorite. 

This was our first time at the Newmarket location and we are happy we decided to have dinner here as we met our incredible server Ryan B. We couldn't have asked for a better person to serve us, as he was very attentive, great conversations and very friendly. A great guy with a big heart and we appreciated him going above and beyond when things didn't go well with our orders. A great server makes dining experience worthwhile, and we got that last night. Thank you Ryan for your professionalism, you will be seeing us again for sure!

The Keg is generally a solid experience across all branches, and can be relied on for a nice night out for a reasonable price.
 However, I believe the kitchen is having issues volume wise as quality control is lacking. While I was there I saw a steak get sent back due to being over cooked, and if you read the other reviews looks like it's a similar issue.
 This location particularly didn't work for me, too many uncontrolled little kids running around. Not really the locations fault though, more of the demographic.

Great steak. Great service. Make sure to book a reservation as it is very busy Friday and Saturday evening.
