My dog was in their care for 2 hours. During that time a sales manager came to discuss a gazillion services and overnight stay for 5 days and a laundry list of costly proceedures. We bright him in for bloat (according to our reg Vet) and after 2 hours of getting a sales pitch and me demanding to see my dog, the vet decided it might be a good time to inform me he was dying. To consider euthanasia. I rant to my dog who was suffering in a way no dog parent should ever have to witness. I looked in his eyes and knew he was dying. I rushed them to hurry up and get him in a room so I could say goodbye and stop the suffering. Unfortunately the sales manager came in first and during the 15 minutes it too to collect my payment for euthanasia, my beloved Tyson’s heart stopped beating. A year later a received. Letter to call them about refunding my $58 payment. How about you keep my $58 and give me back those 15 minutes instead? Never got to say goodbye. Nobody ever told us he was dying until I demanded to see him before I swiped my credit card for 6,000. This company is owned by Mars. I think that should tell you all you need to know about how they operate. All they care about is their bottom line. If you love your pet, take it somewhere else.

I've had to take 2 of my dogs here. The 1st time was for the dog getting into rat poison almost a week before anyone realized she ate it. After 2 blood transfusions, she survived. The 2nd time was for another dog that after surgery wouldn't stop bleeding. After other complications, I had to let her go. Looking at the one star reviews, I'd rather have a vet do their best making my dog feel better, not me. No vet is going to be able to know everything, but between the different doctors here you'll have a better chance. While my dog is in more desperate need than yours. (At least to me) We don't know what possible emergency the vets were already dealing with in the back before we get there. The only downside here is the cost. Expect a large bill.

Nicest staff. We were forced to put our baby down after some really bad health news and the staff was so nice and made us feel so comfortable. Afterwords we got a hand written note from all the doctors with paw prints from our pup. This means the world to us! Thank you.

I had a positive experience at Blue Pearl Sandy Springs. Fortunately, after being sent there with xrays from our vet of a possible obstruction in our dogs intestines, the radiologist at Blue Pearl read them and felt that what was on the xray was not obstruction. Dr. Shelden explained all of the medical details & care instructions clearly. I felt that she was honest about our choices & upfront about the cost to leave our dog overnight for monitoring or taking her home to monitor ourselves. I would take my dog here again if needed.

I took my sweet boy to Blue Pearl after my regular vet recommended them for their specialties. After a brief meeting with Dr. Cross, he quickly diagnosed my dog with sarcoma in his left hip and did not keep any of the results from the tests. As I was standing in the hallway leaving he mentioned that he would do an amputation and it would cost between $3-4000. Terrible bedside manners!! I wanted a second opinion so took him to UGA Oncology. They were terrific and after TWO visits could not find any cancer after many extensive and expensive tests. This misdiagnosis was heartbreaking for many months if not a year as we had no idea what was going on with our dog. Now I can clearly say after a year that Dr. Cross misdiagnosed our dog but what is worse he was going to amputate his leg and part of his hip. They would not respond to UGA's calls and only did so after I called nonstop. Oops no cancer results in our folders. A terrible waste of money and time but also the stress and sadness of a cancer diagnosis that only seems to be profit driven. Never ever would I go to this place EVER again.
