Great food, great location, great views. However, when my husband and I went by ourselves, we eventually had to walk up to the bar and ask for service after waiting for twenty minutes. When we went with another couple about twenty years older than us, we received quick, excellent service. We suspect we were profiled as "that young couple that can't afford to tip well," but maybe we just caught them on a bad night. Still, overall it is a good restaurant.

GET THE SALMON DIP! Probably one of the best salmon dishes I have ever had, and I'm not even a huge fan! If they had this dip in a ten gallon tub, I'd eat it all in the same day. The fish tacos were fairly good as well, and the customer service + the view really ties this place together as a well rounded seafood restaurant. Also, their happy hour deals are worth it, so try to stop by for a late lunch or early dinner! Also, if you're like me and have a sensitive stomach when it comes to seafood, you don't have to worry about this place.

Best chicken fried steak that I have ever eaten. Breakfast is served until 2 on Saturday and Sunday. The Mt. Rainer chicken fried steak is one of the best things that I have ever eaten. The steak is tender with no gristle, the gravy is rich and full flavored. It is hard to get to, with twisty roads, but the Boat Shed is a local favorite.

Our very favorite restaurant located just across the water from our traction house! It even has it's own doc in case you might wanna kayak or canoe over instead of drive. Good food fabulous atmosphere.
