Awesome  food. Love the Brooklyn. Passes the drip test, if you eat standing you will need to hold the sandwich away from you. Tasty! The ladies who run the place are funny and kind. They are west coast with East coast  flair.

Huge bummer you have to either bring your own mug or drink from paper. Ceramic adds a lot for me. Great environment though, on the main corner in Manette with sidewalk dining in a cool neighborhood, and standard cozy coffeeshop vibes inside. The coffee itself is good, with a knowledgeable barista. Carry Boar's Head provisions which is something to be excited about, but I haven't had their food yet.

Dropped in for a quick mid-morning bite between appointments. I found the service laconic. There was absolutely no friendly about the place. The staff seemed depressed. I'm talking about East Germany, Cold War winter depressed.  The 16 ounce Latte had very little coffee taste. I had the "City" breakfast sandwich. Overcooked scrambled eggs with bacon and white American cheese on a bagel. It wasn't bad but not worth the $6.00 they charged. I hope I just hit this place on a bad day. I'm willing to give anywhere a second chance. Especially with the other "glowing" reviews that have been posted.

Was just passing through, cute little town of Manett. Had my dog but guy inside said I could bring her in. Really friendly staff and the sausage sandwich was really good. The bread was fresh and really soft. I would definitely come back when passing through again .

Favorite sandwiches in the area, I usually get the Venice or the commuter club, husband gets the captain. He also tried the hallelujah once, the sandwiches are already big, but that thing is massive. They use really high quality meats and friendly staff.
