As a well known "breakfast place" my hopes for a good dinner meal here were not high. I was with friends, it was late and the restaurant was convenient. I opted for their sausage breakfast bowl with fresh biscuits. Others ordered a chicken pot pie and large salads. All of our meals were excellent with fast friendly service included. Delicious, freshly baked biscuits at 8 PM? Great!

I am one who appreciates consistency and I get that from Bob Evans. The quality of the food, service and atmosphere usually remains consistent at the locations we regularly go and the others we visit while traveling. Occasionally we will get a meal that doesn't live up to standard but not often. The one area that doesn't always make the grade is the wait staff. Once in a while we'll have a waitress that is inattentive and our meal is delivered barely warm. Sometimes our beverages need refills and we have to hail someone to get attention to this. But this is a rarity. There is a large sign on the wall at nearly every Bob Evans I've been to that says, "We treat friends like family and strangers like friends." I have found that to be true much more often than not. Bob Evans is one of our favorite casual restaurants because of the consistency of the food, service & atmosphere. One of my favorite meals is the Wildfire Chicken Salad. If you like mildly spicy food, give this a try. I'm sure you will like it.

Great food. Good service. Floors were wet and greasy. Very hard to walk on without hefting hurt

Bad service. Waited 30 minutes to be seated while several tables were already open. Food service just as bad

Worst service at any Bob Evans ever. We had apathy of 9 after the lunch rush hour. Took them 20 minutes to come you our table, just to get our drink orders, then 30 minutes before the food came to the"window" for a total time of nearly 2 hours. Restaurant was not busy, just a few customers on the other side. Not sure why the long wait happened, as server was trying to make things happen. Very disappointing, but not ever going back to this Bob Evans on Pfeiffer Road
