I switched my flight from LAX to this one when I read reviews of how easy it is to get in and out.  Couldn't have been easier.. super quick and not crowded.  Kept clean despite the obvious age.  Rental car facility is a bit of a walk away but they have those rolling walkways to help expedite it.  Nice people at TSA too.

Truly a well oiled machine! This airport, for its age, is as modern as any other. Convenient for the San Fernando Valley and all of Los Angeles area sites. Laid back atmosphere, very clean, fast, and easy to navigate. Impressive rental car area. Safe, secure, and boasts a professional TSA staff. I always ask for Burbank Airport when given the choice!

Cons:
This airport is grungy and outdated with poor signage and limited food choices. Bathrooms looked like a school of preschoolers had a toilet paper fight AND the paper towels were out. 

Pros:
Cool exhibits on history of aviation though. I love that there's a smaller airport than LAX with almost no security lines but walking around there a lot left to be desired.

Small and comfortable airport to fly in and out of.  Easy access to baggage area.  Friendly and helpful personnel.

My favorite airport! TSA wait times are usually less than 5 minutes. I waited about 10 minutes during the Christmas holiday. There are now more places to eat. The best place to eat is Guy's Burger Joint. There is also a diner-like restaurant, and a few others. Remember that you can board through the front or rear of the aircraft at this airport.
