I'm a member at Bobs. Personally, I like it, the atmosphere is spontaneous and you never know who you're gonna run into. They have lots of equipment. I will admit though, some of the machines are pretty sketchy and could easily cause damage to your joints if you're not careful. But that also challenges me to step out and try new exercises without relying on the machines. Great gym though.

I only visited to ask about membership, was given an abbreviated tour. The facility is much larger than expected. There is a track for running on the second floor level and it is opened so that you can see the actual gym below. They have a large array of gym equipment which is the state-of-the-art. Excellent facility with 24 hour access.

Was an existing member when the change came. Now the gyms focus is personal training and as many members as possible. There is less equipment, less amenities, and it’s twice as packed now. They force all existing members to pay a “transition” fee to get a lower rate or you pay your old rate without everything you signed up for. If you’re a member with a family it actually costs you more now and you get less. It’s not worth it, there are plenty of better options in town.

Friendly staff, always clean and working equipment.  We love playing a little basketball and their drinks menu are excellent.
