"Bon marche" means "good deal" in French, and that's just what you get. High quality items at good deals. And, if you keep an eye here on our Facebook page, you'll catch our many BIG SALES… which turn a good deal into a GREAT DEAL.

We sell jewelry, clothing, shoes, accessories, vintage, furniture, household items and fine collectibles.... so much variety with new items being put out on the floor all day everyday!

We are also distributors for amazing coffee Anna imports directly from Rwanda.

We are very proud of what we have been able to provide to our community in the way of goods, value for your dollar, recycling, community jobs and aid, as well as the help that we've been able to give overseas, in Anna's homeland of Rwanda. We are in partnership with Gardens for Health International.

Gardens for Health International works in Rwanda to provide lasting agricultural solutions to childhood malnutrition. GHI steps in where food aid ends.

The world faces an acute food and nutrition crisis. One billion people live in hunger, and one in five children dies because of hunger. We must meet the world’s food needs through an approach that is environmentally sustainable, recognizes the primacy of agriculture for nutrition and health, and strengthens local communities and economies.

Our approach to hunger is humanistic. Through our work, we seek to change the paradigm of prevention and treatment of malnutrition, away from creating dependency on short-term handouts and towards supporting families to grow their own nutritious food. We envision a future where individuals are able to nourish themselves and their families in dignity.

Gardens for Health International (GHI) is a US-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that equips those who face malnutrition with the resources and knowledge for greater self-sufficiency. We believe malnutrition need not be a chronic condition.

Every time you shop at Bon Marche, you help too.

Thank you so much!

Bon Marche Thrift Store is a 501c non-profit.
We gratefully accept your donations, both in cash and saleable goods. The donated goods are sold at both Bon Marche Thrift Stores, and allow us to provide support to charitable programs here in Sonoma county, and in Rwanda towards the battle against childhood malnutrition, providing food, gardens, education, and health clinics.

DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED AT OUR RIVERSIDE LOCATION ONLY, and must be handed directly to an employee at the donation door to be checked to determine whether or not it is an item that we can sell.
Our lease carries strict terms against any after hours dumping outside.
Our budget does not allow for us to accept items that need to go to the dump. This is very costly and paying to dump takes away from the support we are able to give to our charities.
Computers and TV's are not accepted, except on quarterly designated E-waste days, which you will see advertised here on Facebook, as well as posted in our stores.

Please "Like" our page and share with your friends to spread the good deals and to help support our worthy causes.

We are very thankful for the kind and generous support of our wonderful community.

I have found treasures each time I have visited Bon Marche. Each piece is a collectable, whether it be a crystal stopper or an adorable, vintage, gilded-iron, wicker, table, that fits perfectly in small spaces. The owner is always friendly, and patient at the register, as I almost always say, "Wait a minute! I want to get one more thing!"

Not a thrift store...more of a vintage store cooperative.

Staff remembers me by name, is friendly, courteous, helpful, professional. The floor merchandise is well organized and the store's ambiance is inviting & comfortable for casual shopping. When it's busy, a patron and/or consignee doesn't feel rushed or pressured. My own consignments have sold well & my exchange w/MGC is one I look forward to each time I'm in Sonoma. I also appreciate their extending the 'seasons' according to the applicable weather for instance, not cutting off summer items in mid-July when there's at least 6 weeks left to sell, buy & wear summer stock. I can state without reservation, it is my most desirable consignment store.
