This place has terrible customer service. My daughter got a gift card for $20 for her birthday. When we went to go check out we were told the card has zero balance on it. I told them that was incorrect as she just received it as a gift from her grandparents. The salesperson was rude and said they had no way of confirming whether the card was properly filled and activated. So we left without making any purchase. Really? It's 20 dollars for a kid. We're not trying to scam you and you're refusal to do anything to make it right is ridiculous. I refuse to buy anything from them now. I'll go browse and simply purchase the stuff from Amazon instead.  If you want to buy local go down to River Lights downtown instad.

the coffee was splendid the service scary. the lady gave us the most evil death stare & made me uneasy while drinking my chocolate milk. i will not be returning around 5 on a sunday if the same lady is working

They use your bank/ credit card information to send you magazines you did not authorize. It has happened to 3 people I know including myself. I only pay cash when I go there now.

Has some good books and nice discounts. staff have to hussle magazines and other stuff I want to support the store but I don't want the mags or to "donate" something so the store gets more money and the tax write-off for my donation I just want to buy some books.

Coffee is hit and miss, but the fixed drinks are decent. The internet here is an absolute joke, slower than dial-up. Most of the staff here is friendly, but the best members have all left.
