Next Page Books (NPB) is a locally owned, independent bookstore situated in the historic New Bohemia (NewBo) district of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Established in July 2012 as New Bo Books by Mary Ann and Chuck Peters, the store was purchased by Bart Carithers in December 2015 and continues to serve the greater Cedar Rapids area.

NPB prides itself on offering a wide selection of fiction, non-fiction, young adult, and children’s books in a warm and inviting environment. The shop may be small in size but it’s bursting at the seams with the latest best-sellers and award winners, along with classic books and interesting sideline items. We encourage our customers to leisurely browse the store and spend time in our comfortable seating area.

Our staff will answer your questions and respond to your needs in a quick and professional manner. If we don’t have the book you’re looking for, chances are we can special order it for you and have it in your hands within two-to-five days.

We sponsor frequent special events and promotions that educate, entertain, and reward our loyal customers. Events are posted on our Facebook page and through local media outlets. Please call the shop or stop by if you’re unsure of the upcoming schedule.

The shop is open 10am to 6pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday. However, we will never turn away a customer who arrives before closing time. As always, we welcome your feedback on how we can better serve you - our customer and friend.
