Our mission is to promote the appreciation of the American Quilt and the art of quilting through displays of quilts and information about quilting.
The Iowa Quilt Museum is housed in the historic 'JC Penney' building on the beautiful town square in Winterset, Iowa, and offers changing exhibits of American quilts both vintage and new. The museum welcomes quilters, quilt lovers, history buffs and all appreciators of American art and culture giving a new reason to spend time in a classic, rural town center. Donations and pledges are being accepted through the Iowa Quilt Museum website: IowaQuiltMuseum.org
