RUDE, UPPITY STAFF WORK HERE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

I simply wanted condo insurance. Their agent never gave me insurance help and always complained over the phone that it was my responsiblity to know what insurance my condo needed. They were horrible in service and dumped on you. After I lost my patience with them, each summer, I called sounding a bit peeved. I tape recorded them to hear what they would say. They never called you back in a timely fashion...When they did call me back ...she said to me....that i shld know the required endorsements. Me? I am not the insurance expert? What? You are the people who are supposed to be expertise. She told me that I had to call my condo and get the info myself. Meanwhile, I called several other Agents and they were very knowledgeable and courteous. they taught me what my insurance should include and not include and then after I callled....the executive office ....Headquarters of the insurance they sold me ......The INSURANCE HEADQUARTERS told me that this company had over charged me for unnescessary overages. Unbelievable.... Finally, after being treated so poorly ...I had called for 2 months ...at breaks when I could get away from work during their BUSINESS HOURS.. and did not get returned calls addressing issues to REMOVE endorsements that I never asked for......they igorned me..... I pointed out their behavior to them.....and of course they started to say....if your not happy leave. I said I just want SERVICE. I have a deadline to pay my Homeowners..insurance....can you help me? Very frustrating. I had a deadline to RENEW my HOmeowners insurance. They acted deaf and unconcerned. They were making me very nervous. I called back to find someone to help me. Instead, i get another lady there who picks up on my frustration and my difficulties in getting help...but does not care....she says....Do not talk to me this way, I am pregnant." WELL, COMPANY...DO not TALK TO ME THIS WAY. I WAS LEGALLY ENTITLED TO PROPER INSURANCE service! And for all the stuff you added to my insurance policies for 8 years...someone should take you to a civil court to question it. And to boot, the OWNER CALLED ME. I thought he was going to be a broader minded individual and work out the service problems...Instead he said, .....we do not want you here....I do not like the way you are talking. When I heard this ...i thought...Someone on his staff complained and NO one talked about poor service and overcharging me..... ( maybe the pregnant girl was his family, nepotism..?...Horrible service..This company seemed to have good prices on insurance, except for the WIERD endorsements. Another friend had been there and he said I got out there! A staff member there could NOT keep facts straight and sent me another policy charged up with outrageous amounts. Luckily, she sent a second envelope showing the Real Policy as a correction...., which I had opened first. . THEY ARE A VERY SELF ABSORBED with themselves. Maybe the owner is just an elderly man who listens to the rest of them and thinks they are reporting accurate behavior. I told several people about this... I AM DISGUSTED.....and people should be careful dealing with them....and the women employed are short sighted with customers. Be careful....esp. if you are a new homeowner and not well versed with insurance....they take advantage of you and will, maybe mostly thru IGNORANCE...I have several invoices from them for the last 8 years showing items I never asked for. They just slipped them in while I was too busy and then recovering an auto accident in which I was the victim. I was tired and needed help from them...and they were VERY RUDE to me...with their carelessness and not taking responsbility to provide a service that was appropriate. I did not want to change my insurance Agent because I had an accident and needed to keep my costs down. I hope others write in what happened to them. I heard a few stories already....It is easy for all of us to just let things go....and not say something
