This is the nicest Boscov's Ive ever visited.  Great sales.  Bright lighting.  Neatly organized shelves and racks.  Truly enkoyed my shopping experience today.

First shopping experience,  walked in to waste a little bit of time waiting on other places to open not intending to spend a dime.  Walked out well over an hour later with lots of deals.  One thing I wanted wasn't in stock so I also did an online order while in line.  Got home and found more deals and placed another online order.  The staff seemed really helpful and said good morning and have a great day to everyone.   Even had another customer randomly walking up to me telling me that I'd look good in a particular shirt/tie combo!  For the "yelpper" that gave a 1 star for a sears cart that banged their truck... go back to calif and be with your own kind!

I would not buy a thing from Screwed UP, Boscos   The service from there warranty company, Appliances Unlimited is so disorginized, they will tell you you have a appointment scheduled but come day of appointment they do not show up.

I went to all the high price stores I could find , looking for an evening gown black tie for my Nieces wedding in LA ,California. I really wanted something special and that helped me look sexy and elegant. Well I found it at your store. My sister and I said sure why not. The wedding is in October and I can't wait to wear it. Now I need to find shoes.

So this really isn't my type of store I usually don't shop at department stores so maybe I'm being a bit unfair here but I don't really understand the appeal of this store. The clothing sections are all very nice, well stocked with lots of choices, but prices are that of a department store, there's no way around it you pay a premium for name brand clothing. Okay so on the clothing alone I'd rate this store 5 stars, it's what I'd expect from a department store. The only other departments that also feel like a department store is the furniture/seasonal section it's pretty run of the mill. Now to get on to the rest of the store, which to be honest is a complete dump. The toy section has empty shelves with signs for toys that haven't been sold in years and quite frankly would be a disappointment for any child, not to mention some of the toys are particularly low quality. Then you have the former optical department and auditorium which has just become a spot for them to push rejects from other stores and dollar store quality items, not to mention potato chips??? Why are they trying to sell potato chips in a department store? Like what are they thinking? Then you have a entire section for as seen on TV products cause everyone knows they are the highest quality. I understand they are trying to bring in more customers and I'm sure you will get people who come in for the junk and maybe see a more expensive product and buy that but what type of impression does that leave on people? As someone who usually shops at discount stores like Walmart or Target I'm not really interested in shopping in a store with high dollar merchandise, likewise I'd imagine someone who only shops at high end stores doesn't want to shop at a outdated looking store with dollar store quality merchandise. Maybe I'm wrong and boscovs has found the key to making the middle class working man's department store be profitable. Either way it certainly offers a unique shopping experience unlike any I've seen before, even if I won't be returning to experience it again.
