It was nice and clean, my first time ever in one of their stores. It was relatively easy to read the signs to find some items, like the clothes and bedding. Other things we needed to ask for help. We had to ask for help twice because the items we needed weren't easy to spot, like children's shoes. Children's shoes are located in the far left corner of the store neatly tucked out of site. Which doesn't differ from JcPennys but at least theirs is by the grownup shoe dept. and kids so it makes sense. The second item we couldn't find was on the second floor and it was the vacuum cleaner section. I honestly can say that without directions I never would've found them. Boscov's is a nice looking bldg but I think the second floor definitely needs better organization. The customer service was really good in the shoe department and lacking in the vacuum department. We waited 15 minutes for someone to help us even though we were the only customers in the vicinity. I don't think that this is the store for me but I may shop here occasionally if they have a good enough sale.

I don't shop there that much but two lady's who were checking people out I thought they were very rude with two older ladies in front of me. I almost put my merchandise back and just walk out of the store. They need to respect people and you don't just throw peoples merchandise behind you like there not standing there. It really upset them you could tell just the way they looked at each other and I thought it was very ignorant!

This is a great all around store; great selection of clothing, plus furniture, kitchen, bath, drapes/curtains, electronics, etc. A true department store in the classic sense, with great prices as well. This is fast becoming a must-stop when shopping in the area.

No restrooms on first floor. People with mobility issues are at a huge disadvantage. Seems like a form of discrimination to me. Love the clothes though. Not sure whether I'll shop elsewhere.

No one wants to help you in this store. I had to talk to a manager who apologized and when we went back into the store at another time we had the same experience. We inquired about layaway and we were told by three employees the down payment is 5% then when we went to put an item on layaway we were told it was actually 10%. We were told by 3 employees the layaway length was 30 days then another person told us 60 days only to find out when we went to do the layaway she couldn't tell us the length of time but told us it would tell us the length of time when we started the layaway. One man at the customer service was so disrespectful he was yelling at me and treating me like garbage and another employee standing behind him was whispering to me saying, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
