Everything was excellent. Great prices, selection, clean store, mostly helpful staff to help. 4 star only because staff was scarce & shoe department grossly understaffed. We stopped Sat. Eve, an hour before closing and there was 1, lackadaisical, clerk. We waited 10 minutes just to get him to help us and there was no other patrons... & then a rush came thru. Frustrating... but still a great overall experience.

Old World department store reminiscent of Macy's and John Wanamaker's, only less expensive. Went on a Wednesday night  had my purchases rung up by a Grumpy guy who barely spoke to me. I will be back, though. It's still my favorite department store. Long Live Boscovs!

I will start off by saying that the sales are often good at this store but it doesn't make up for the horrible customer service that I've encountered more than once here. Store clerks seem to want to finish out conversations with their co-workers before acknowledging that you need assisted upon. Then give an attitude of annoyance that you've interrupted them. I'm in the customer service field as well and I wouldn't dream of treating people the way that I've been treated. They are very rude and it makes checking out a very uncomfortable situation. Some of these sales clerks should not be assisting the public because it makes this location look very very bad.

A lot of their women's clothing is for women on the mature side, but you can find some really nice dresses and coats.  They have pretty good deals, but my favorite is the free wrapping of gifts that you purchase there.  I can't wrap a present to save my life and they'll wrap your purchases right at the service center.  It's awesome!  I may never buy a gift anywhere else again.
