We are from out of town. Whenever we come to Rapid we like to try new things. This time, we tried Botticelli. It is amazing. The waitress Kelsey is a peach and extremely helpful. The food was awesome. Very well cooked and had a wonderful amount of flavor. Will definitely be back and suggest this place to our family and Friends. It is a tad pricey, but for what you get it is reasonable. Portions are decent. Quality is far above par. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting.

I think we go here more than any other Rapid City restaurant now. It is special to sit  by the window and watch what happens at Main Street Square. There is usually a special on wine which is appreciated. We enjoy the food and the atmosphere which is very nice, relaxing, but its ok to come very casual. Its a good place to dress up for too.

Great food, terribly unclean. I had some pictures of our last visit on 2/15/18 but must have deleted them. Bathrooms were filthy (dried feces on toilet) all the chairs that were in my section had what looked like a soda can exploded on the floor and sprayed everything. Espresso machine doesn't look like it's been washed this year. Food bits stuck to the brick in our booth. There's a huge difference between rustic and unhygenic. Our waitress was a gem, the soup salad and sandwich for 8.00 was a great deal and beer prices were more than fair. My wife had chicken pasta it was delicious! If you're hung up on cleanliness I'd pass.if you're the type of person who doesn't wash your hands before you eat then dig in! If the front of the house is that bad what's the back look like? Made the best of my time but probably won't be back.

I wish I was exaggerating with 1 star...server took a while for drinks, never brought us bread, was not knowledgeable about the menu and this being our first time there it was frustrating. Kitchen was backed up so we got salads before appetizer which was fine, but the appetizer when it came was tiny, I don't know how one little zucchini muffin is "shareable". Ordered skirt steak and shrimp for the Valentine special- why is 4 pieces of skirt steak and 4 little shrimp $42?; meat was chewy, I mean extremely chewy, and poorly flavored- I physically struggled to eat the only bite I took, it was too much. Dessert was the cream cheese tort- arrived as a bowl of Graham cracker paste mixed with cottage cheese and an unrecognizable smashed berry smeared on top.
Valentine's day dinner was disappointing, waiter comped our 1 beer and 1 wine but we still had to pay despite not eating the main course or dessert. Tried to speak with a manager but they were way too busy and if I thought it mattered I would have waited. Also, there should not be a table right next to the entryway, getting stared at by waiting patrons with the cold breeze of a constantly opening door is not part of an admirable ambiance. Will not be back and would advise future patrons to eat elsewhere, it's not worth it.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. All 3 dishes we ordered were very flavorful and we'll made. Highly recommend the caprese salad to start.
