Very hit or miss, and consistently mediocre on certain items. We heard a ton of great reviews before moving to Rapid, so we've been there 5 or so times so far for breakfast. The ambiance is great and the service is usually pretty good as well, especially for how busy the place is. The pancakes are really bad, they taste like a super cheap box mix and two out of three times have come out significantly undercooked (and I am usually not picky about food at all but even I was disappointed by it). My husband has ordered Eggs Benedict twice, amazing the first time but the second time came out very crispy, borderline burnt. The food runner even mentioned it as they set it down in front of him and asked if it was okay...if you have to ask, why bring it like that in the first place? The coffee is always great and the french toast was really good but extremely tiny pieces of bread. It's on the pricier side when it comes to breakfast (especially considering if you want eggs & bacon/sausage you have to order a sidecar separately whereas most breakfast places come with it already). Not sure if we'll be back again, I usually try and give places a few chances to get a true feel for it.

Just had breakfast here. Classy. Great service. Immaculate. Imaginative menu. High-quality preparation. One of the best breakfasts anywhere at any price (though Tally’s is not expensive). Amazing. We’ll be back.

Be for warned, I am opinionated. Tally's was...disappointing, lots of positive reviews, chef with great credentials, good back story, they just failed to deliver on the mystery meal. First course was Curry Croquet, but by a French name. OK, you can have some leeway on the language but please deliver some flavor. Second course was a salad. Lettuce, arugala, red onion, strawberry, tomatoes, and a non-existent dressing. It can only be described by a list of ingredients, because that's how it came off. There was no commingling of flavors or textures. Just bites of individual components. Final course was a pork tenderloin with pineapple, peppers, and coffee glaze. Better, but still not outstanding. So this is where I stand. I'll try Tally's again with different expectations. Who knows, it might be impressed. Oh yeah​, it's not a full bar, beer and wine only. Maybe liquor would help my review.

Very busy but for a reason. The restaurant is a small quaint but modern breakfast joint that many delightful food options. The daily item is particularly an option to look out for since it's something different and you will definitely be in for a treat. The prices are higher and are more or less worth it. The only drawback is the lack of seating can often lead to a longer wait time. But it's good food we're talking about so isn't a line a good thing?! The breakfast burrito is a personal favorite of mine!

I want to give this place five stars because the food was delicious and staff was super nice but we just waited for so very long. We waited for 40 minutes for a table, which is understandable on a Saturday morning, but then we had to wait for an hour after putting in our order to get our food. We were starving and the 1 hour and 40 minute wait was just too long.
