I was a resident in their Bradford Medical Resort after having back surgery.  Based on my two week stay, I decided on this facility for my mom for post heart attack therapy.  Wow.  Did they change.  All they care about is the almighty dollar.  They used a bus for transportation in the winter that had no heat!  Also, their deficiencies have increased 160% in the last three years.  It's a shame.  I try to visit my mother every day, so I know what is or is not happening.  This is considered one of the best long-term care facilities in the area.  Really?  Most of the issues arise from the administration.  That is the key to the lack of staff and quality care at this facility.  There are times, especially on weekends, when there is only one or sometimes a shared nurses aid for the unit.

My grandma is currently a patient. I would give it 0 stars. She cannot communicate since she had a stroke. The staff mistreat her. The nurses do not attend to her after I tell them to come help. They just sit and laugh amougts each other and do not help those aids. They left her for 40 minutes, which happens often. They would come in turn off the lights and then say I'll be back. She peed herself. This place is a disgrace. My family and I try to be there as much as possible throughout the day. If we are not, them my grandma would not be taken care of. 

I get they are short staffed but have the dignity to respect them. She has had several uti's here. I've seen other patients also with the same problem. One of the patients a few doors down would scream. I went over to her room and told her don't scream, hit the help button. However, her light switch didn't work. When I went to tell the nurses they said oh she always screams. Well her light switch doesn't work. They just sat there and didn't go help. I'm appalled and disgusted by the disrespect this place has for the elderly.

The  staff are attentive and kind. The rooms are single and spacious. Food is so-so, but they will do they're best to accommodate. Physical therapists are knowledgeable. I recommend

My Husband Gary was a Patient at the Bradford Unit. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the PT staff. Gary was cared for and treated with a lot of care. I also was a patient when I had a knee replaced. I also had the best care. The Doctors on staff are also very involved with the care and making sure the patients needs are met. My only complaint was the food. If a patient is a diabetic, they need to have a special menu for the patient. The kitchen staff bends over backwards to get what the patient needs and wants. There are special days for a Pizza Party,Ice Cream Social and Popcorn Days.  They just need to work on the quality of some of the food. The sandwiches are good. Breakfasts are good. Other then that,The Boulevard is Awesome!!

My mom is a resident at the boulevard & I am very unhappy with this nursing home. They don't have enough nurses & aides to take care of the residence. So many times I have witness people ringing & screaming for help & nobody responds & the nurses just ignor. If I had a choice & I could take my mom out, I would but unfortunately I can't. I try to be there as often as I can to help her but still that is not enough. We pay so she can get proper help but this is not good enough.
