First and last time I will ever go to B.B. I ordered ahead by about 4 hours, as I was picking up food at 6pm on a Friday, and assumed they would be busy. When I got there (5:58pm) I let them know that I was there to pick up food like it said in the email. The girl making food let me know they are out of the bread I chose, and that I could pick any other bread, so I did, no problems there. Then she said we will call your name when its done, understandable since they ran out of my bread. Then the people that were rung up after me, got their food. One person with a salad I could understand but by the 4th person, I realized something was off. I stood up an walked up to the desk after the 4th person, and the girl who I talked to about the bread, said oh it was done a while ago, I forgot to call your name. At this point I'd been there for going on 25 min. Then when I got home with my order, the bread was rock hard after being grill and cooling, since it sat for so long. What's the point of ordering ahead? I waited longer than people who walked in. Plus they got fresh food, mine was terrible. I will never go this place again, and will discourage anyone who asks. This place is the embodiment of hipster at its worst.

Yikes! First of all, the checkout girl had an attitude for no apparent reason. It’s not that hard to be friendly, and it’s your job. Bought a cupcake for my daughter (which cost over $5)and it had the heavy texture of a muffin. The frosting tasted like shortening, and the bunny decoration on top was waxy fake chocolate. My daughter only ate a couple of bites. IDK how a business can call itself a bakery if it can’t even make a cupcake a 6 year old will eat. For that price I at least expected real buttercream. SMH —seriously, anyone can do better than that with a box of Duncan Hines cake mix. If you can’t bake scratch then DON’T.

To start, the set up from the beginning when you walk in to the end when you sit down had a nice, smooth flow. The staff was friendly and courteous and the place was bright and clean. The sandwiches were made to perfection and the macaroon cookie was the perfect ending to lunch. Highly recommended!

A well designed space for a relaxed and casual lunch that features fresh ingredients and a wide variety of enticing baked goods. A great stop in Albany!
