What an amazing place! Campground is within walking distance of everything we needed. There are much more trees than what the arial view shows. Very cool temps in August, bring a light jacket!

We have been renting a boat from Bowery Haven for over 30 years and this year was very disappointing.  
They have undergone management changes and it is clear to me that customer service is not a priority at the marina. 
The pontoon boat they gave us was so old and run down. The carpet was torn, but the worst part was that the upholstery was ripped and the foam rubber was wet from the rain, so when we sat on the seats we were wet and uncomfortable. Then there were the seats that were so wobbly and broken that we couldn't sit on them. 
When I asked for a newer boat I was told they were all rented out. However, upon our return the same newer boats were still at the dock. 
I spoke to management about it and all I got were a bunch of excuses and told how much pride they take in their equipment, and that the wear and tear was from this year which I find it hard to believe. 
Again, customer service is not a priority for this new management at the marina.

Love the friendly folks at Bowery Haven. Great restaurant. Good food and friendly service..

We didn't stay here. We just shopped there for fishing supplies and rented a boat. Good group.
