overall a nice campground. good price and a welcome sight after 7 days of dry camping. campground has it all to offer, clean washrooms, good laundry, full hook ups. walking distance to most of the town. gravel pads and the place does fill up every night, so don't expect a site late in the day

This campground is situated in the heart of the town of Escalante, centrally located to all of the town's offerings. It's a short drive from many of the area's hikes, vistas, and slot canyons. The showers here are very nice, clean, and have plenty of hot water. On site laundry is a handy touch as well. The staff is friendly and know the area well. Definitely check in with them if you need advice on what to do with your time here!

Super clean restrooms and super cute cottages. The owner was very helpful with a map of the slot canyons and we just loved the locations. Would definitely stay here again if we travel through this area!

Stayed there 2 nights in a pop up tent trailer and enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a place close to the Lower Calf Creek Falls and found it. Escalate is a nice little town with some good places to eat all within walking distance. Facilities were very clean and up to date spots are kinda tight but if your using it as a place to sleep while you're out seeing the sites it works great. Lower Calf Creek Falls is definitely worth the hike. We also found Devil's Garden and some fossilized dinosaur prints closer to Escalante, those plus the slot canyons like peek a boo and spooky are like 20-40 miles down this minimum maintenance road. If your going to drive your self like we did you won't wanna go too far. The road is nothing but a washboard. The speed limit is 35 but you're lucky if you can do 20. That's some thing they don't show you in the commercials about visiting Utah. I recommend getting a guide in Escalante using his Jeep or bring your own ATVs to go down that road to see those sites.
