I've been going here for a few years and I definitely will recommend this location. Daisy has done a few installs on me over the years. She's awesome, very fast and gentle. On my last visit I got Marley twist switch took about 3.25hrs. This was with two people working on me. The second braided was Fab, she's just as gentle and fast! I plan to maintain this protective hair style for 8 weeks.

I decided i wanted something new for summer, so i opted for senegalese twists. This salon had great reviews so I decided to take a chance and get my hair braided for the first time in over 10 years. 

I called and set an appointment the day before so I was able to get my hair started on immediately. I told them I wanted medium/large sized twists at bra strap length and showed them a picture. 

They started on the back of my head so by the time I saw the size of the twists it was too late. The twists are about half the size of what I wanted, but it still looks pretty good. They also did a more classic length of twists down to my tailbone so I'm going to look into trimming them up to where I wanted them.

I ended up paying $185 which was reasonable (hair was included with the service). Overall the girls who did my hair were nice and professional. They did a good job on my hair, but I would say to be very explicit in the size and length you want.

I went in for some crochets my hair is not braided down to my head. The girl that was doing my hair had an attitude because she didnt know how to tie the hair I beought. I've used this hair several times before with NO problem. Then when. I called to say my hair was coming up I got nothing. So pissed. when you pay for service you expect quality. My 4 year old could do a better job. Never will come here again.

NIGHTMARE - Worse Experience Ever.  DO NOT GO UNLESS you want to be almost BALL HEADED **WARNING.....**** I went to the Lawrenceville location On August 30th. I spoke with Agnes, the Owner and was told it should take approx. 5 1/2 hours with 2 people on Faux locke braids. Process send pic to owner get price. Mine $205, it took 11hrs. YES 11hrs only 2 separate ppl worked on my hair, bcuz they were steady sending ppl over to this location.. Afte half  way through my head the Stylist realized that it was crochet Faux locke and not regular ones and Would have only took an hour to do and cheaper, which the owner should have realized when I sent her the picture. So it was not going to be WHAT I WANTED.  2nd she called herself layering it and it was a HOT MESS looking CRAZY at the ENDS long and short in different areas
 So next day August 31st, I had to go to the owner shop on Jimmy Carter because she would not answer my call regarding my hair and I was getting on the cruise ship the next day. Long story short she took pictures of my hair redid some of my hair cut some of my locke re heated hair But did not once offer me an apology or a discount or my money back for 11 hours. I went to this salon on the ship to get my hair styled up for my birthday and was informed that my hair needed to come down because it was braided to tight. I had bumps all in my hair that was getting infected and my scalp was red, bumpy and irritated, my scalp temperature was way too hot for having the braids in for that short of a time so on the 12th day my braids were taking out by the salon on the ship (see pictures) MY HAIR came OUT a lot, both times after deep conditioning (see pictures) I went to my hairdresser at home she had to cut a lot of my hair because it was damaged (see pictures) I will be contacting my attorney with legal shield to Sue the h*** out of them because one thing for sure I can't get back my hair that's gone . "YOU'VE BEEN WARNED"

My braids are just ok. Nothing special at all for the $205 I paid. Not to mention, the young lady next to me got smaller braids, the same length as mine and was quoted $185. There were 2 young ladies working on my head, braids are uneven and not braided as far down as I'd like. My regular braider could've done the same job for a fraction of the cost, I went here for pure convenience and was hoping I'd get a slightly better quality of work. Nope. With that being said, It wasn't the worst thing I've experienced. We'll see how they hold up, I may or may not be back.
