Phone etiquette... I was a potential student calling. I asked if cosmetology and esthetics were offered I was told a flat yes. I asked for pricing. All standard questions, so it would seem but this is when the experience became unpleasant. I was told I wouldn't receive this information because of the schools high call volume and I would have to actually come to the school. Ignoring the fact, that out of all the schools that I had dialed this afternoon this was the first one that couldn't tell me a price, (you know because of the high call volume) but she told me in slow motion. Normally, if your call volume is high I would be on hold or I would have been speaking to a call center. I'm not out here to judge but shouldn't she have said it more quickly? To make matters worse, this place doesn't even show up on a google search. I was referred by someone whose number actually does show up. So that call volume is in question in my book. Funny part about the experienced I was asked "what is it you want to learn because most people that call already know where we are located?" Nice job on customer service!  Either way, continue to turn people away. Customer service is first. Without a monopoly on this area you should seek a better customer service agent or perhaps better tactics. Telling people you do not have time to answer questions will not get you more business. It will only get you negative reviews. I will forward this information to the better business bureau for further investigation. Obviously, you do not need students.
