I have been on the same medicines for years and all of a sudden Dr Bunnell has decided to deny all my refill requests. So, I have been denied refills for my high blood pressure, depression and pain. None of which are opiods or narcotics. To top it off they won't return my phone calls. Hope someday he has to go through being taken off all his medications at once while waiting for his new insurance to kick in. Denying someone medications for depression, high blood pressure and pain all at the same time does harm. So much for the oath to do no harm. Dr Brunnell and his staff are at fault if depression wins. I have been on the same dose of Prozac for years and it worked well. WTH am I supposed to do now.

Dr. Bunnell might be a fine Dr, but good luck getting in if you are sick. So it's unfortunate his staff is so rude and unprofessional. I didn't even get to see the Dr. I had been assigned Dr. Bunnell as my Primary Care Dr. with Tricare after moving to the Dallas area from a prior Military Treatment Facility upon my husband's impending retirement from the Army. I hadn't been feeling great and got worse, tried to schedule an appointment on a Friday morning, if not, get one for Monday. It took forever for them to answer the phone, then I was laughed at when I asked for an appointment, and told, uh, no, "you might get one late next week, you know we have a lot of flu going on." Uh, hello! How did you not know that wasn't what I had? I could have also had the flu. Also, the unprofessional person asked me was I in their computer? Hello?? How do I know?? I then called the Tricare Nurse line to see my next step (which you were supposed to do to see if you needed a referral to Urgent Care-*which did change 1 January 18 unbeknownst to me). Tricare Nurse Line told me to Dr. Bunnell's office back to see if they could see me on Monday (she said to tell them they suggested it). Again, took forever for them to answer the phone, and they were again rude to me and couldn't see me. Again, I got excuses about others had the flu, and they had new systems and more excuses. I then went to Urgent Care and tried to call them at least 7-10 times and file a complaint with the Office Manager and Managing Doctor, and also get confirmation of the referral for Urgent Care that I thought I needed for Tricare. NO ONE HAS YET TO RETURN MY CALL....This office needs training in Customer Service and how to treat patients, unless you want to keep losing them, even before they are seen. When people are sick, they need a Dr., not to be laughed at, or not have calls returned. I also filed a complaint with Tricare and changed my PCM. Not only did they lose me, my husband as well.

If you are searching for a very patient, caring, knowledgeable and thorough physician, look no further. Dr. Bunnell is as good as they come. I have been a patient of his for 10 years and counting.

My children and I have been with doctor Bunnell for 20 years now. I love him, great with kids. My only disappointment as I age his office doesn't take Medicare.

Dr. Bunnell took the time to listen to me, to what I was experiencing and my thoughts on what could be going on, I really appreciated that. While awaiting some test results I called his office and requested a call back from him personally to dicuss things further and recieved that call from him in less than two hours. That meant so much to me. :)
