My daughter feels safe and confident going to the dentist. Dr. Porter and his staff are friendly, teach her healthy habits as well as include her in discussions regarding changes that occur as she grows older. We feel grateful, welcome and in good hands. Thanks for all you do!

We love Dr. Porter and all his staff! My son is disappointed whenever we have to go to any other medical office. Great toys in the lobby, everyone makes the experience fun, friendly, and not scary at all. Highly recommend.

Dr Porter and his staff are always courteous and helpful.  I have two sons under the Dr.'s expert and quality care.  Both are happy to have an appointment with the Dr., which I find odd because orthodontics sometimes hurts.  Dr. Porter explains things clearly to both my wife and I and to our boys. Highly recommended.

I have 3 children who have been treated by Dr Porter for 20 years.  He is a pro-active dentist; which, clearly, offends some people on this board.  He has been nothing but respectful, kind, flexible, and generous.  At times, he has HAD to be straightforward with my wife and I about staying in front of dental issues that might have been worse, otherwise.  Was he stern at times, forcing us to make quality choices?  Yes.  But, with great purpose of keeping my children's dental health in place; not just at the time, but for their future!  Now that most of my kids are grown, I repspect his choices, and have nothing but fondness for his care for my children, who's mouths are in excellent health because of those traits!  As opposed to many other pediatric dentists in town who take a, supposedly, more conservative approach, because they are not "permanent" teeth.

I would highly recommend Dr Porter for the LONG-TERM dental health of your child.  Are some things costly? Yes. But, what is worse?  Short-term costs, or long term issues for your kids as they become adults?

Dr. Porter, is an extremely professional, ethical and caring Pediatric Dentist. My children have been seeing Dr. Porter for the past four years. They enjoy coming to the office. The office staff is very friendly and professional. The office is very clean and organized. I have a child with special needs that Dr. Porter has gone above and beyond treating him with kindness and making him feel comfortable at the office. My son had a lot of needed dental work when we originally came to the office. Dr. Porter completed all the necessary dental work.  My son now has braces and is doing amazing. I have had the great pleasure of seeing Dr. Porter and his family outside of the office at mutual kids event. He is an amazing Father and member of the Santa Cruz community. I highly recommend Dr. Porter and his staff. Sincerely, Nicole
