Its a fun place to socialize and enjoy their appetizers. Our first experience was on a Thursday night. The wait staff was very busy, but as on as you get their attention your needs will be met. The lobster and sirloin steak special was worth waiting for. Their Cesar salad not so much. It was warm, and not fresh. Over all experience was good.

Brewer's Alley is one of my favorite places downtown! They have a variety of seating choices for what mood you're in: dining room, bar area, outdoor tables, and rooftop. The food and drinks are always good. The Kolsh is my favorite. On Taco Tuesday they have $3 tacos and margaritas!

Not flexible with reserving reservations. I had a party of five, four from out of town, two of whom were celebrating significant birthdays. Brewer's Alley would not accommodate us. They have a policy that requires six people for a confirmed reservation. I have never eaten there but have heard great reviews. Looks like I want being giving them my business or referring them.

This was one of the few places a carnivore like me would recommend the all vegetarian simple tomato margherita and basil pizza. Until last Christmas this was a deliciously straightforward meal enhanced by some of their microbrewery ales (e.g. nut brown, scotch ale, etc). But my most recent visit was disappointing. Pizza seemed hastily made, bread texture was rubbery and pasta was average. Overall, not what I fondly remember.

Perhaps I've watched too much Bar Rescue, but this place ticked all the wrong boxes. Water stains and mold on the ceiling, grossly outdated decor, beat up walls/furniture, and most importantly less than okay food. Fish and chips - chips over salted, fish translucent and chewy. BBQ sandwich, no smoked flavor even though purportedly smocked for 12 hours, and has a ketchup flavor before you put the BBQ sauce on it. Uninspired staff seem like they don't want to be there. It's not the worst restaurant I've seen, but if your trying to have a special day out, you might want to skip this one.
