Loved it. Went for the tasting menu at the chef's counter. The serving staff is very attentive and it's fun to watch the staff prepare the next round tastings. Skip the wine pairing and opt for some unique concoctions on their drink menu. The orange dream frozen treat is AMAZING! I wanted two! The menu is pretty filling but not so much that one should skips meals. The pace between each plate is slow which allows for digestion. I'd do it again... For a special occasion.

One of my favorite spots for Happy Hour in the summer months. Large outdoor patio and comfy seating, perfect for getting together with friends and relaxing. I haven't had the opportunity to have dinner here yet but I definitely plan on it soon!

My husband and I went to Volt about three weeks after it first opened: it was magical. I’ve been back multiple times for many course meals as well as for lunch at the bar. Watching the chefs holds as much fascination for me as eating the food. Even if I don’t care for a dish or a taste/texture, eating here always helps me hone my palate. When I want to create apple and parsnip soup at home, how would I do it? Can I tell the difference between ground beet and ground, dried cranberry as a garnish? Yes, it costs a lot and sometimes the level of detail about the food can seem pretentious. But if you get the right server (older ones are better) or sit near the chefs, you can learn a lot, eat food you likely won’t cook at home AND not have to do the masses of dishes such cooking creates!
