I'm so glad I stopped at this place! Cheap enough for a family to dine in without break the bank and the food is great quality! The taco salad was so awesome and the fried Oreos are a MUST TRY! Good little diner Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes

This was my first visit. The atmosphere was so positive and inviting. You can tell they love their town. Excellent customer service. Friendly and very helpful with figuring out my order. Ordered fried corn bites which were good. Also got gravy fries and strawberry churro.  Kid-friendliness: Spacious , booster chair as well as high chair

This place is great. I go for the beyond burger or the beyond tenders, but their other food looks great too. They have specials on certain days of the week, like taco Tuesdays... Even my family that lives in Michigan is jealous that they don't have a place like this near them.  Vegetarian options: Beyond burger or beyond tenders. Burger might be cooked on the same grill as animal meat and not sure what type of oil is used for fryer. Could also be used for chicken tenders as well.

So glad I stopped by. This place is a gem. Service was friendly. Food came out quickly and was soooooo good. Can't beat the prices and the portion sizes were perfect. Lots of tables for indoor seating. Favorite lunch spot in Hobart.  Vegetarian options: They offer the Beyond burger, Beyond nuggets, and veggie pita. Some of their daily soup specials may be vegetarian as well.

Went to get a meal waiting for 1 person in front of me. He completed his order and the waitress continued to talk to him, glanced at me and never took my order. The owner came out and passed over me to talk to him also. After waiting 5-10 minutes, I decided to leave and when I was half way out the door   finally got acknowledged, "sir did you want to order?" by the owner  I replied na I'm good  haven't been back since then. Food was ok, nothing to rush back to anyway

The food is amazing! My husband ordered The pork chop meal with a side salad, yummy! I ordered the Italian beef sandwich combo extra drenched because my mouth was sore From the dentist! To my surprise she listened and put an extra cup of Aju juice with my order and I almost cried tears of joy. The restaurant is extremely clean and the atmosphere was pleasant! The owners were very polite to our children and we can not wait to go back. We are also African-American and as we know some places can be very nonchalant to us at times because of our race! We felt like royalty and we Thank you all!

We visited yesterday on a whim.  My husband and I have seen this place for a long time and finally decided to give it a try.  The place was clean and the staff was friendly.  My husband ordered a double bacon cheeseburger w/fries and I had a gyros platter.  My husband and I both enjoyed the fries.  They're not seasoned but just have a good flavor.  My husband said his burger was really good but a bit too salty.  I was disappointed with their gyros.  Although I may be a bit spoiled.  Their gyros meat is just ok.  Not bad but not great.  Their sauce doesn't have that great pungent kick that tzatziki sauce should have and they serve mild white onions instead of the quality reds that should be served with a gyros.  For the last 25 yrs. I've gotten gyros in Merrillville at King Gyros and the owner serves a very high quality meat that just isn't used in the region and their sauce is perfect.  I have eaten many gyros in my life and none ever reach that same quality.  I wouldn't mind visiting Brickie Gyros again.  I will just try something different.  It's close and has a nice hometown feel with all the Hobart football memorabilia.

I walked in with my family and the lady behind the counter was so sweet. I went in wanting a Italian beef but left with the pork chop dinner and it his FABULOUS. My wife got the Italian beef and feel in love with it. Definitely glad I found this spot and I guarantee we will be back soon
