This is in my experience one of best places for lunch and breakfast. The service is excellent and the food preparation is one best places I have ate at in 80 yrs on this earth. It has a bar to sit at to eat which I haven't seen since I was in my 40's and the people are friendly and I love the camaraderie. The menu is extensive and you even able to get mimosas and other libations! Be sure to ask the Manager for his suggestion and Bob recommended Cafe 339 in Hobart, Indiana on Main Street.
First time but not the last. Cozy place excellent food. All three of us cleaned our plates. Great employees and owner.
The absolute best place for great food, Great service and an amazing atmosphere. The owners are so caring and so very nice. They genuinely care about everyone. I mean everyone not just their customers. I’m always inspired when I eat here because it’s so much love in this place.
Friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere, decent coffee and food was good. Only 2 things I didn't care for: sausage links instead of patty on a breakfast sandwich not a big deal but I would have changed my order had I known ahead of time 2nd thing sliced potatoes not diced for the house potatoes again just my personal preference. Food was seasoned properly and cooked well otherwise
First time eating here. Waitress lost ticket, kitchen didn't cook food for an hour. Owner made good, did not charge for half of breakfast. That was a good thing because the order of crepes was absolutely terrible. Tasted like nasty old doe, was not cooked, was just nasty. I had an omelet, it was very good. The place seemed poorly managed, waitress was not very good, cook staff sure can't cook crepes.
Since finding out about this place a few years ago they have always delivered great breakfast. I'm very picky about my pancakes and have tried 8-9 restaurants in the region and this place has some of the best. It is my wife and I'm favorite place to go.
10:30am on a Sunday There is a reason this is one of the most highly rated breakfast spots in a 50 mile radius. Excellent service, excellent food, clean, friendly, and cozy environment. I will 100% return here and recommend.
The following review is based primarily upon customer service. First things first, I called to place a takeout order. The phone was ringing for quite some time before it was answered. When I got on the phone, the person placed me on a long hold and I was able to hear everything going on in the restaurant during that time. Finally when the hold was over, the person taking my order was splitting their attention between me and other people and thus was barely able to keep up with what I asked for. When I placed my order, I was told it would be 20 minutes until it was ready. 20 minutes later, exactly, I arrived. When I walked in, I was not greeted. Multiple staff people walked around doing a number of things bedsides greeting me. After standing there for 5 minutes, totally ignored, I flagged down a staff person and asked them to send a host/hostess to check on me. They asked what I needed, I said I had to pick up a to go order, and they walked away, came back and said my order was being wrapped up “right now”. I said okay and he walked away. The same employee, likely noticing I was visibly perturbed, came back and asked for the name on my order and I provided it. Now, considering he hadn’t previously asked my name I must wonder how he reported that my order was being wrapped up “right now” minutes before. I continued to wait for a while but ultimately I left without my order and was made late to an appointment because of the ordeal. As I was leaving, I heard a staff member joking about my departure, saying that he tends to have that affect on women. The flippant disregard for the loss of business does not make their case any better. I won’t be making any further attempts to patronize this business in the future.
Came in early to be seated , only 2 of us . And we saw at least 3 families be seated. This place isn't friendly to l customers. The host pick and chooses who he wants to seat first no matter if your name has been taken down before others.
Fantastic food. I’ve been here 3 times, never had to spend over 15 bucks a person. The portions are huge and the place is quiet. My favorite restaurant
