This place has a good basic selection of fabrics plus a surprisingly cute selection of jewelry, scarves, and trinkets.

Beautiful, fun selection of fabrics, ribbons, and sewing accessories. There's also a small selection of craft-like gifts. The owner of this independent / small family business is very helpful.

A bit expensive compared to the fabric store on Jamaica Avenue but hey it's one of the few fabric stores in the area. The owners are extremely polite and nice. I like that you can but 1/2 yard if you don't need a full yard.

More than just a fabric store -- they have a nice selection of gifts, including a lot of fun necklaces to choose from at very reasonable prices. Also games, jewelry, and scarves.
