It appears that the inspectors are so incompetent or are too lazy to simply read the documents that are presented to them and do the job of reviewing for the purpose of confirming that they meet the necessary Code requirements. They inject their personal preferences and appear to do all they can to delay legitimate applications. 
Someone needs to inform them that they have an obligation to SERVE the public.

The Town of Brookline has some of the most outstanding building inspectors in the world.  They are knowledgeable, friendly and fair.  Keep up the great work!
