Went to The Brook for the first today to have a family meal. The food was very nice, although our mains 3 of us had the honey and orange duck could have been better. However, we fed this back to the staff which were more than happy to help, and they actually gave us £10 off our meal. Friendly staff, very nice food albeit a tad pricey, very pleasant venue - would definitely return.

Just popped in for a half pint as I always wanted to visit as I've driven past in the evenings when the garden is beautifully lit up. Loads of outdoor space and a beautiful garden. There was a small child's play area too. This pub is also dog friendly. My friend had an alcohol free beer so it's great that more pubs are providing these options. Parking: Just register your car at reception. Room for about a dozen cars I think
Best place I’ve eaten, staff are very welcoming and polite. Food is exceptional. Manager also gave me a birthday drink on the house. This is a lovely place for me to come for my coffee before work for a bit of relaxation time. Would deffo recommendRecommended dishesGourmet Beef Burger, Fish and Chips
Pros: - Nice decor - Good drinks - Desert was nice - Staff were friendly enough Cons: - Food was pretty meh. Not bad but just not great - Food was too expensive for the quality - Parking is minimal when busy - Drinks expensive too, not necessarily a bad thing but just an fyi that a beer is like £6 and a cocktail £10 Vegetarian options: Idk about vegetarian but 2 party members had vegan options and they enjoyed them Parking: Not much parking when busy
On a mini mission to review local pubs for their roasts. this one was gooood! at the top end £18 per roast which i feel is a bit much for food that cost a few quid per portion but its the standard gastro pub price.... loads of meat, well cooked veggies, really nice red cabbage with nutmeg!!! good gravy and horseradish was lovely also.. beef was plentiful cooked pink and well rested thinly sliced and loads of it, roasties were nice enough, large yorkie pud. this has always been a nice pub and it still is, i felt the roast couldn't be improved well worth a visit!
The food is always good here. Met friends for a lunchtime meal and we were the only people in the restaurant area. That's the only reason I gave atmosphere 4 stars.Food: 5/5
Had a section reserved to celebrate my children's christening and it was perfect. I dropped balloons and banner and cake there day before and the staff went out their way to put it all out and make the area very warm and welcoming. Food was delicious. Slight hiccup on one order but there was over 20 of us so in all did really well and the hiccup was not unnoticed. They put it right swiftly. Lovely atmosphere. Puperb food and service will be returning and recommending. Thank you all very much.
Very nice food, an almost home made feel to it Friendly staff We weren't rushed at all, so all in all, it was a really positive experience. I'd Def visit againFood: 5/5
I visited with my daughter for lunch today I had the fish and chips wish was amazing my daughter had the cajun chicken burger which was also amazing. Service was fantastic. A lovely place to eat.
