Bismarck's newest retail art gallery celebrating history, art, and culture!
N O W O P E N | Monday-Saturday 10 AM-5 PM
The Capital Gallery is owned and operated by the Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Art has always been a passion of our Foundation since our inception in 1995 as we began our first chapter with the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center and Fort Mandan in Washburn, ND. For over 20 years the Foundation operated both historic sites, through the generous support of our members and donors.
In May of 2015 we began our next chapter. After North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department took over the daily operations of both facilities, our Foundation was able to pursue our new venture of moving our offices to downtown Bismarck and opening a fine art gallery. We remain a membership Foundation and continue to financially support the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center and Fort Mandan through our fundraising efforts.
Our mission is simple. Celebrating history, art, and culture!
