I seriously doubt the pictures you had done at Walmart were "much MUCH" better. I have a feeling you have a lot of issues in general when interacting with people.

Do not waste your time and effort on this less than professional business. 

I was completely appalled when the owner refused to work with me when I was not satisfied with his "creative" restoration of my old photo. The pictures in his store were nice, but the copies of my photo I made at Walmart turned out much MUCH better than the $300.00 restoration and framing done by Magic Photo. When I called to discuss having the digital photo re-worked to adjust the lighting to look more like the original, I was told he already had too much time into the photo and it would not be beneficial to him to spend any more time on it. Apparently, a few clicks on his computer to lighten up the darkness he added to the photo would have been very time consuming.

He was short and rude on the phone and even when I offered to pay more to have it done right, he told me to take it somewhere else.

I've never worked with anyone who values their customers so little. If I could rate them less than Poor, I would. I strongly recommend that ANYONE looking to have a personal photo made into art start by taking it "somewhere else" and save themselves the misery of Magic Photo. Magic Photo in Bismarck, ND does not want or need your business.
