I cannot express this enough. DO NOT even waste your time...I gave this place the benefit of the doubt and it was also one of the few available campgrounds left (Oh I wonder why!). First of all the entrance sign is not big or inviting at all and we missed it, had to turn around. OK fair enough, not a huge deal. We pull in and find the office, the lady is not mean but not too ecstatic either...the office has crap everywhere and smells weird. She then proceeds to tell me where my site is and tells me I hope I find it because I chose the difficult site and she could have given me an "easier to find site". So apparently it is MY fault that my site is hard to get to. We finally find it but the path to get to it is not even paved, just grass everywhere, so i can see why one would get lost. When I called to book my site she put us at #22 because I wanted to be by the "brook"...First of all, there is just weeds and random shrubbery so you cannot even see the brook in front of you. I literally had to sit on top of the table to even see anything. And let me tell you, it is more of a swampy piece of crap, then a nice babbling brook...I do not expect much but there was no incentive to stay, no walking trails, no staff coming around to see how the guests are. We left immediately the next morning.

This weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to drive around and explore new places. Halfway through the weekend, we found this campground and luckily they were able to allow us to rent a camper for one night. We were so excited once we got there, we went to walmart, bought cleaning supplies and scrubbed the camper down and immediately started to relax and build a fire. The owners/managers really talked up the live music and bonfire that was starting at 10pm. We decided that since they made such a huge deal out of it, that we would go! So of course, we did. 10pm rolled around and the band wasn't there yet, the manager was sitting around the fire assuring us he would be there soon, that he was running late. No problem. The guy comes speeding in, gets his crew and equipment ready and starts his performance. Once he started singing, my boyfriend and I were feeling uneasy about his first verse.. we decided to wait it out to hear the second verse before we got upset.. and sure enough.. we realized this guy was singing about how anti-police he was. He was saying how he woke up one morning and all these cops were standing over him and all he saw were uniforms, no faces and he was talking about stealing and eluding the police and how he is such a victim of the police... I was getting nervous because my boyfriend is a police officer of 11 years and he was sitting there, enjoying his MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND... a weekend where we honor those who fought for our country... and these owners of this campground allow these scumbags come in and bash police officers in front of kids, parents, and first responders. We ended up getting up and going back to our camper where we had to listen to these people sing until 2am!! We were so upset that we left by 5am the next morning. We will now let everyone know about the views of this campground and why no one should support their business because they don't support our law enforcement.

Great campsite. Just be aware that they do not allow pitbulls on their property. They will tell you that no pets are allowed, but this is not true. I saw plenty of people with their dogs. Overall I liked my experience camping here.
