Had a fall checkup with Dave W. I knew I had some issues with my two zone system and Dave took the time to explain them and weigh the upside (few) and the downside of replacing parts in an old heating and A/C between 13 and 23 years old. Also explained how I could reduce the price slightly by keeping one unit that only needed more Freon (or whatever they use now). Good guy to talk to from upstate NY originally. AAA+++ service.

We needed assistance with our new a/c system. Clinton was great to say the least. He was very friendly and patient to explain the details of how our new system operated. I was unaware of the many features he took time to explain and resolved my questions . I appreciate great technicians that know what they are talking about and how to effectively communicate to the customer to correct any issues as he has done. I will call brothers again and have him sent out if anything else comes up. Thanks for great service!

Approach with extreme caution. I bought a brand new package unit from them that they installed 3 and a half years ago. Not one summer has gone by since I got my new unit (that cost thousands) that I have not had an issue. Every summer I end up having to deal with it being in the 80s sometimes 90s inside my home. If you need an example of the work beyond that. They put floor returns in my home. One of the 2 returns is an inch from a vent sucking the heat or (when it is working) cool air straight back down. I used them because I thought they were one of the best and all the reviews were great. Well here is my review. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

I told the Tech what was wrong and what i needed done and he insisted the system "Hasn't worked in years and that the whole thing needed to be replaced."  "If i was going to fix this wiring issue it was going to take many hours and HUNDREDS if not Thousands of dollars" 

I asked him if he could just look into the thermostats and make sure the 6 wires were in the correct place or just put the old thermostat back.  He said he could do that but it would be$150 per thermostat. ($300) 

He collected his $89.99 trip fee and i told him thank you anyway. 

When I got home from work I watched a 3 minute YouTube Clip and fixed the problem in 30 minutes.  2 wires needed to be switched. 

I'm thinking about starting an HVAC company, charging $100 to stop out and just telling my customers that I can fix the issue for $1,000,000. When they say No, I will just collect my $100 Trip Fee and go to the next house.  Great Business Plan.

Chris called before arrival, explained what he would do, donned protective shoe covering and did his inspection, etc. Explained everything in detail and made very appropriate suggestions which could help make operation more efficient. A very courteous and pleasant young man.
