The best brisket I've ever had! I got the small brisket and sausage sandwich, chopped, and it was heaven! So tender and just the right amount of smoke! In a good sauce that didn't overpower it- the bar has just been raised for my future BBQ experiences!

One of the top spots for BBQ in Austin! The location is key as it is good BBQ without having to go too far away from the city. The couple that runs it is very sweet and always ready to help with suggestions! The brisket is amazing and I highly recommend the Mac and cheeses as a side, although the potato salad is pretty good too!

Pros: great friendly service. Best cobblers I've ever had!! Hands down, no question about it. No long lines. Most of the meats we sampled were very good -- not great, not average, but very good. Cons: Turkey was very flavorful, but too dry.

I have been about a half dozen or more times and have never been disappointed, except when they were closed for repair. I have had the Brisket, chicken, sausage, and the beef shoulder and all have been great. I need to try the beef ribs to complete trying everything that I want to.

This has got to be the single best brisket I have ever had this place is ran by a top notch crew with over the top personality the Mac n cheese is gooey and creamy with bits on meat in it for that extra kick I’m not a huge fan of southern style slaw (I’m from the northwest) but their slaw is to die for I will definitely be making this my first stop every time I come to Austin the reviews don’t lie browns bbq needs a tv spotlight don’t miss out!!
