Not your usual Buc-Ee’s. This one is tiny compared to the others and offers almost no food options. Bathrooms are clean, though. It’s an average gas station. I had never used the word “average” to describe Buc-Ee’s but also I had never purposely wanted to visit Gonzales, TX.

Buc-ees has lots of 'made to order' food. Sounds like a nice place to stop and get a bite. That is until you realize they have NO/zero/nada place to sit down. We asked an employee and she said she gets asked "twenty times a day", but they want you to take the food and get out. Mmmmm.... chili hot dogs on the curb in 95 degree heat. I guess we could have shoveled food down our throats while driving down the freeway.... No more buc-ees for this family. There's much better options where you can take a break from the road and enjoy your food.

Zero made to order food options at this location. If you want hot food you better go somewhere else.

Not your regular Buc-ee's, it is a very small gas station, with 12 pumps and a small convenience store, far from a regular Buc-ee's with over 80 pumps and a huge store. You can't even find the beaver nuggets in this location. The only hot food prepared to order they have is breakfast tacos, which are really good. The employees are very friendly, but if you are looking for a full sizes Buc-ee's you will need to drive 15 miles north on Highway 183 to the intersection of I-10
