We were greeted almost immediately after we sat down which is nice but a little too quick. We ordered a couple drinks from the bar, a Milan Mule and a 9oz glass of wine. Server brought our waters but no drinks. About 10 minutes later she came up and said she was waiting on the bartender? Finally 5 minutes later we received our drinks after salad and bread were severed. I thought yeah yeah you just forgot to put them in. I made a trip to check out the bar and sure enough about 5 servers standing at the bar waiting for the bartender who was obviously overwhelmed with what looked like a full section of tables and his bar top full. Overall good food just unacceptable wait time on a cocktail and glass of wine.

It's tough to give a 2 star review after the fun detour through the kitchen, the over the top decor, the giant cake and candles for a birthday celebration... They do so many things right! The flavors are just not there. My family went with the traditional spaghetti and meatballs for $35 and another $11 for bread. The meatballs had zero seasoning, lacked any hint of garlic, and no sign of a diced onion. The $11 bread was eh and they didn't even give you a side of marinara to hide the eh flavors after charging an extra $1 for the eh cheese on top. Ok, I'll bump them to 3 stars for the effort. My suggestion is to try their lunch menu before springing for dinner so you can find a dish with a little more...anything.

Husband and I thought a date night here would be fun as we hadn't been for a few years. We got fettacini alfredo with chicken and yeah the sauce is good but the chicken tasted bland, like straight out of the boiling water. For the prices we pay the chicken should have at least some salt and pepper on it jeez. We got mozzarella bread and only half of them seemed fresh with a good amount of cheese, the others where old and basically just crunchy bread. Not to mention that the waiter we got seemed way more interested in the elderly couple behind us (possibly because he thought they would tip better). He hardly ever checked on us and took forever getting our refills and we sat right by the kitchen. Over hyped and over priced sadly, will probably never go back.

I don't really like to give bad reviews and rarely do but I did not like this place. The first issue I have with it is they make you order a meal that serves three people so if you go here plan on sharing your meal with at least two other people which means you have to get them to agree on what to order. Which makes it very difficult if you have picky eaters at the table because no one's going to agree on the same thing. second the meal I had which was the shrimp pasta in butter sauce was very very plain. I kept cracking pepper over at trying to get some taste out of it but it just wasn't that good for $27. Another issue I had was the only serve Pepsi products, they don't have Coke products or dr. pepper. Nothing about this place was spectacular and for the price we walked out of there paying about$40 for two people to eat lunch on a Sunday. I definitely would not recommend. I have posted some photos of the restaurant.

this place has the best spaghetti and meatballs I've ever tasted. Nice family atmosphere good history. I want to go there again
