I am giving a positive response as the owners are obviously and conscientiously aware of the value of these reviews. We had poor service 2.17.18 at 7pm with a birthday party of 6 at the Burnsville, MN location. While we are not the demanding sort, the staff that night did little to address the issue. However, to me at least, the immediate response of the management team to the review demonstrates a commitment to follow up sincerely and promptly. I, for one, rely on these reviews and it is reassuring the folks in a position to address concerns are actually connecting with their customers. Well done.

Let me start by saying the service was excellent. Our server (Gama?) was everything you want in a server. Jovial, friendly, attentive but not smothering, anticipated needs...perfect! For him alone, 5 stars. 
We dined with friends who were visiting us from out of the country and ordered some of our family's favorites. Unfortunately the dishes at this location differed greatly in flavor from those we had just a couple weeks back at the Minneapolis location. The most stark contrast was the Spicy Chicken Rigatoni. At the Mpls location it had a really good kick of heat, at this location it had the heat of black pepper...so none. Also, the Shrimp Florentine which is hands down our favorite, somehow lacked in flavor too. We did find the lasagna and fried calamari to be excellent, though it was our first experience with those dishes so didn't have any expectations. I'd give this location another shot, but would order differently based on our experience.

Good food and decent prices depending on what you eat. Pizza is small compared to the price. The pasta is a better value. We prefer the spicy chicken rigatoni. The margarita pizza is good but the supreme is better. Service is always pleasant here.

Buca di Beppo is a wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere and outstanding food. Every year for almost 16 years our family has gathered on Christmas eve for dinner and we have never been disappointed.

If the family gathering is under 15 we sit at the Popes table, and for greater than 15 we use the Cardinal Room which also has two booths. Both have roundtables that rotate with the food which goes around. Of course this is a family-style restaurant which means all the portions are large and the idea is to share it.

If you happen to go there on a date, and there’s only two of you, they have that covered as well with specials for two people.

The Gorgonzola salad is outstanding as well as the calamari. All of their main dishes are wonderfully tasty.

You can also order takeout and just pull up in your vehicle and they will bring dinner out to you.

I had a terrible experience today at Buca. I called on Wed to ask about the menu and was told they serve individual meals until 3 pm. It was my mom's 78th Birthday and I met my family at the restaurant. They drove an hour to get there and I drove 40 minutes.  My family arrived early and told hostess to tell me where they were sitting. The hostess walked me around the entire area of the building. She kept saying yeah I know where they are. She was no help in finding them. Finally I told her I will look myself. She was no help. After I found them my family said they only serve family style. I informed the manager about the call I made earlier in the week in which I was told that individual meals are served until 3 pm.  It was 1230 pm.  Waitress was slow and we didn't get our drinks for 20 minutes .. My sister asked about the waitress about if they do anything for my mom on her birthday. They said they would sing and give her a piece of cake. My chicken wasn't well done and I didn't even eat it. I was so frustrated with the service. As we were given our checks the waitress looked at my mom and said "DO U WANT US TO SING U HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Its her bday it was a surprise and she made that comment. Obviously my mom said no... Who would say yes???  Then waitress asked do u want a scoop of ice cream?? We had to ask her 5x for a box for our leftovers  and then she responded if I had 8 arms I could get u one..  Just bad service all around.. I'm very disappointed I was there 20 yrs ago and it was excellent.
